Working in the food industry for 10+ years, our acclaimed chef has drawn inspiration from all over the world, seamlessly synthesizing the familiar and the unknown to form daringly bold flavors and class. Carefully-crafted custom menu accentuates the uniquely exquisite flavors that have come to define Rae's Cuisine. This one-of-a-kind and intimate experience will leave you with memories that last a life time.
Raenel, known by CHEF Rae is a private chef and caterer-talented and creative who puts the freshest ingredients together in an unbelievable way. She prefers to cook from scratch and with locally sourced items. She attended culinary school at the Art Institute of Tennessee, and has been cooking since she was 3 years old. She learned how to cook from her great grandmother who fostered an environment of freedom and learning to try anything at least once. Chef Rae is a culinary teacher for hire does classes locally at the Mint and Nashville Kitchen Studios. She is also a certified TABC (alcohol), ServSafe Food Handler, Manager, and ManageFirst Instructor Proctor for the National Restaurant Association. She has a passion for the non-profit sector, a traveling writer and foodie, and completing a post-baccalaureate program in Global Health Minoring in Sustainability at Arizona State University.
Chef Rae is Originally from the Bay Area-CA, has also lived in Arizona and has presently lived in Tennessee for over 20 years. Chef Rae has international taste buds and cooks foods from all different cultures, with a background deeply rooted in the South, a love for Caribbean and strong Creole roots, there is nothing that Chef Rae can't make as a Regional Chef.
